Job Title: Senior Product Manager: Data Products & Platform
What You'll Do:
- Lead strategy, roadmap, and execution of data products and services that drive business value.
- Develop products, platforms, and pipelines to transform the insurance industry.
- Define and prioritize product requirements through market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and launching new products and enhancements.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and product innovations.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product delivery and adoption.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
- Advocate for product management best practices within the team and across the organization.
- Champion data privacy and security, advocating for the best outcomes for customers and Duck Creek.
What You've Done:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- 6+ years of experience in product management, including 3+ years in a strategic leadership role.
- 2+ years of experience designing and delivering data platform products.
- Proficiency with product management tools such as Aha!, ADO, JIRA, and Confluence.
Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Experience creating products and services for the insurance technology industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:
- Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle in a software or technology-driven organization.
- Deep understanding of product management principles.
- Knowledge of enterprise data warehouse structures and architectural patterns.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security controls.
- Knowledge of data streaming, cataloging, and lineage technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
