Base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. Salary may vary based on location, candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may include additional compensation through an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Product Manager, Data Strategy will shape our data landscape to support strategic initiatives across the enterprise. Responsible for aligning data-related initiatives with business goals and contributing to a cohesive data framework and strategy. This role requires strategic planning and hands-on execution with a focus on data standardization, governance, and integration into the product roadmap.

Primary Duties/Key Responsibilities

Strategy/Discovery:

  • Develop and execute data strategies aligning with company objectives.
  • Identify and communicate data-related opportunities and industry trends.
  • Monitor SSMD Data Initiative products and meet advanced data and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with UX, marketing research, client solutions, and business stakeholders.
  • Promote consistency and efficiency by connecting strategic initiatives to the enterprise data framework.

Planning and Governance:

  • Create and maintain product vision and roadmap.
  • Implement governance practices to ensure high data quality standards.
  • Support complex product features within an assigned product area.
  • Seek strategic data opportunities to create reusable data products.
  • Ensure activities align with the product roadmap and provide governance for new data requests.

Development:

  • Define priorities in alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate access to reliable data products for actionable insights.

Sales & Client Engagement:

  • Engage with stakeholders and business partners to ensure data vision addresses key areas such as marketplace access and key features.

Evaluation:

  • Measure and monitor product KPI performance.
  • Evaluate customer/market/financial data for emerging trends and recommend solutions.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 in a data strategy role.
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile Methodology, data management, and data governance.
  • Experienced in cross-functional collaboration and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in full product lifecycle methodologies and competitive research.
