Your Role as a Group Leader

Your primary mission will be the establishment and management of a research team focused on the integration of microbial multi-modal data to explore complex interactions. As part of this role, you will interact closely with experimental research programs dedicated to discovering innovative biosynthesis routes and developing robust industrial microbial cell factories. You will have the chance to influence a burgeoning data science community within our Center, linking cutting-edge experimental work with advanced multi-omics analysis pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage a dedicated research team, supervising students and professionals across various levels.

Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant field with a strong background in big data and biological systems.
• At least two years postdoctoral or relevant industry experience, with a keen interest in machine learning and high-throughput data analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, with the motivation to acquire Danish language proficiency.

Salary and Benefits

The position as a Senior Researcher is full-time and permanent, with starting terms based entirely on mutual agreement. Compensation is highly competitive and based on qualifications and experience, following the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations agreement.
