We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Developer to join our Sustainable1 team. This role is pivotal in accelerating our automation efforts, enhancing the architecture, design, scalability, and performance of our evolving needs.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement software components for our shared automation capabilities platform.
- Perform analysis and articulate solutions.
- Design the underlying engineering for various product offerings supporting a large volume of end-users.
- Develop project plans including task breakdowns and estimates.
- Manage and improve existing solutions.
- Solve complex problems by weighing their costs and benefits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in application development.
- Proficient with SDLC methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development.
- Proficient with Python; experience with Java/J2EE, Scala, and C# is a plus.
- Experience with stream processing engines like Kafka, Spark, etc.
- Experience in building event-driven, scalable, and resilient systems.
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark, NiFi.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity and/or enthusiasm with Data Science / Machine Learning.
- Familiarity with MLOps.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in Databricks, SnowFlake.
- Experience building APIs.
- Experience with Data Engineering.
- Experience with Document Storage Systems.
- Experience with DAG orchestration such as Airflow.
