Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML

POSITION SUMMARY

Our software engineering team is seeking a skilled AI/ML engineer to be part of a dynamic, high-energy team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with customers, technical architects, and data scientists to establish the architecture and requirements for micro-services that support a comprehensive ML pipeline, including model training, hosting, and monitoring;
• Lead the design and development of AI/ML products to meet customer requirements;
• Develop strategies with other engineering teams to optimize and scale the delivery of business applications;
• Develop methods and tools to monitor the performance and reliability of customer business applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in Python and/or Java;
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field;
• Knowledge and experience in deploying models and monitoring model performance;
• A proven aptitude for learning new technologies;
• Ability to communicate and interact with both technical and non-technical members of the organization.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with tools and methodologies used to create comprehensive AI-powered applications, including embedding models, vector databases, LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, etc.;
• Experience working with tools like Jupyter, AWS Sagemaker, or similar;
• Understanding of metrics used to evaluate model performance;
• Experience with various database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.;
• Experience with RESTful API patterns and practices.
