At the very least, the following tasks must be completed: • Adherence to all department-specific and project standards and SOPs • Fulfill all duties related to SAS® Programmer roles. • Support the Programmers on their team with their daily tasks. • Serve as a resource for escalating programmer issues. • Communicate with the sponsor as needed to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables • Recommend and develop project standards • Use SAS® programming knowledge to solve problems related to unusual situations • Understand, take ownership of, and write the programming specifications and database definitions • Generate and QC summary tables, data listings, and graphs for internal analyses of study data or publications using standard SAS coding practices. • Create/procure tools that enhance programming efficiency or quality. Validate the work of other programmers. FILE 2 POSITION DESCRIPTION – SENIOR STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER - IQVIA • Create/review programming plan, specifications for datasets, and TLFs. Carry out plausibility and completeness checks for programming output across each study. • Lead and take ownership of identified process improvement opportunities • Identify, build, and validate SAS® Macros • Contribute to activities in validation and implementation including Standard Reporting Systems, SAS utility macro programs, and related tools. • Participate in the development and implementation of programming standards and conventions. • Set up monitoring of data transfers for ongoing trials to identify issues with study conduct or data quality. • Support data queries from other functional groups • Other duties as identified on an ad-hoc basis by senior management.
