Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Senior Technical and Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Bupa. As a key player in our Group Functions Technology team, you will drive our digital strategy forward by working on innovative data analysis and management information projects. This hybrid role offers flexibility in location, hours, and working patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for Data Analysis and Management Information services.
- Identify valuable data sets for Group Functions Technology and collaborate with the Data Product team to integrate these into our analytics environment.
- Use Python notebooks, Power BI, and Looker to manipulate data for strategic and operational decision-making visualizations.
- Define metrics to monitor and report on the operational performance of Group Functions Technology.
- Utilize workshops, prototyping, mock-ups, and domain knowledge to shape data requirements.
- Implement automation processes to maintain Group Functions Technology data.
- Drive continuous improvement of data quality and standardization.
- Own, define, and maintain Performance, Risk, and Transformation data products.
- Foster relationships with data owners and consumers to promote standardization and maximize data value.
- Employ agile methodologies and design thinking for project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining data products using Python notebooks, Power BI, and Looker.
- Experience in automation development using ServiceNow and/or Power Automate.
- Experience in finance and performance data modeling.
- Strong communication skills to present data effectively to various stakeholders.
- Excellent visual storytelling ability to simplify complex data.
- Experience with data management, quality improvement, and standardization.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and working in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong collaborative and influencing skills.
