About the Role The Analytics team at Miro has a clear mission - to use data to make better decisions. We are a small and highly experienced group who take pride in finding ways to answer some of the most exciting yet complex business questions. As Miro expands, we want to grow the Analytics team and hire a strong Web Analyst. You will be fully integrated into the web team made up of product managers, engineers, and designers. Alongside them, you will be responsible for maximizing the impact of our website and enhancing the on-site experience. You will achieve this by continuously bringing actionable insights from web data to the team. The team will depend on your data to prioritize their actions and make the best decisions for their customers. Your efforts will lay the foundation for the Marketing Analytics team and will contribute to the company’s growth. What you’ll do Generate insights on key trends in web data across domains, devices, and funnels. Design and develop datasets and models to better understand on-site visitor behavior and performance. Conduct impact sizing and ROI analyses to inform prioritization and business impact reporting. Co-manage the visitor experience, front-end data definitions, and metrics. Design and analyze experiments and initiatives to optimize web engagement, conversion, and performance. Identify and tackle the most significant challenges with web and experiment data and analyses. Share insights through powerful presentations or dashboards with colleagues who optimize the on-site experience—ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual efficiency of reporting. Pilot new tools and try to derive new KPIs from web data – KPIs that provide valuable insights. Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance our analytics infrastructure and data quality. Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure solutions are useful and scalable across teams. What you’ll need Over 6 years of Analytics or Data Science experience in a rapidly growing organization, preferably working on high-traffic SaaS websites and understanding the unique challenges and opportunities they present In-depth experience writing SQL queries and working with large web data sets Ability to quickly discover the stories hidden in web data using statistical analysis Experience in BI tools (e.g Looker) and designing and constructing powerful dashboards A deep understanding of, passion for, and experience with experimentation Focus on delivering results quickly with iteration, instead of waiting for perfection A degree in Applied Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams—proactive by nature and able to handle ambiguity in discovery.
