Our AI solutions aid in cancer detection and predicting the outcomes of cancer treatment, achieving timely and individually tailored cancer treatment. 🗨️ About the team The applicant will be part of the Product Management team and will support the broader AI Platform and AI Research departments. The Product Management team currently comprises a product owner, project manager, and product designer. This team supports the Frontend Engineering, Backend Engineering, and MLOps teams within the AI Platform department to meet the needs of customers in the AI Research departments and the Medical Affairs departments. The AI Platform department provides various key tools for AI researchers and medical professionals within Lunit to help fulfill our mission of conquering cancer. The department primarily focuses on radiological and pathological image annotation, data cataloging and management, and data pipelining and automation systems to help internal customer departments move quickly to deliver value. Our team is an international group of enthusiastic researchers/engineers with a diverse range of interests and a strong desire to share knowledge and collaborate on exciting projects. 🗨️ About the position The role has three key responsibilities: 1. Ensure our requirements do not have any major gaps (requirements defects). 2. Ensure our designs properly fulfill requirements (design defects). 3. Ensure our software accurately reflects those requirements and designs and is of generally high quality (software defects). Once a baseline of test cases and quality processes is established, we will focus on automating these processes through automated testing. We expect this role to develop into a more software engineering role focused on testing and will provide that growth path over the long term. As the AI Platform department is a back-office department, in the sense that our customers are other employees of the company, our timelines are largely under our control. Unlike other industries like the game industry, crunch time and overwork are very rare. However, the testing cycle is ongoing, which means your days will busy, but you generally won't need to work late. 🚩 Roles & Responsibilities 1. Define test cases for web-based, internally-used products based on requirements and direct experience with the products. 2. Continuously test requirements and products throughout the development cycle and provide quality reports. 3. Clearly communicate defects to designers and software engineers. 4. Assist in the release management process and keep product manuals current. 5. Generally work to improve the quality of AI Platform products and processes and apply automation where possible. 🚩 Tools Used Technical tools/technologies: React, FastAPI, Django, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Prefect, Streamlit, Typescript, Python General: Slack, Confluence, Jira 🎯 Qualifications 1. 2+ years of experience in quality assurance. 2. Comfortable with white-box and black-box testing. 3. Proficient in English. 4. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent). 5. Experience working in a Scrum or Scrum-adjacent software development lifecycle. 6. Strong communication skills. 7. Attention to detail. 8. Strong prioritization skills. 9. Comfortable working independently. 🏅 Preferred Experiences 1. ASQ certified as CQIA. 2. Experience with automated testing tools. 3. Knowledge and experience in security testing. 4. Familiarity with web application architecture, including APIs and databases. 5. ASQ certified as CSQE. 6. Comfortable in some programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, etc.). 7. Familiarity with medical imaging or pathology. 8. Proficiency in Korean. 9. Exceptional communication skills. 10.
