Job Description

We are seeking a SharePoint Configuration/Data Management Analyst to get onboard with our team supporting NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC (hybrid role, 2 days per week office presence required). This role involves coordination and collaboration across a large team and with other NASA teams. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge, as well as excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

  • Offer SharePoint Configuration Management/Data Management /Report Management (CM/DM/RM) consultation, counsel, guidance, and work instructions to leadership and staff.
    • Design, produce, and synchronize SharePoint site content and features, including creating and using lists, libraries, flows, and PowerApps.
    • Coordinate closely with NASA Office of the Chief Information Officer to warrant effective, proper implementation of SharePoint and Microsoft suite of tools.
    • Maintain CM/DM Plan, SharePoint new feature rollout plans and schedules, SharePoint training and work instructions.
    • Actively monitor, assess, and propose recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Support document change management process.
    • Preserve awareness of official document development and status, making sure authoritative version of each document is rightly stored in appropriate library and accessible to correct user groups.
    • Maintain suitable data access/security, availability, and security markings, staying mindful of the individuals who have read/edit access to documents. Vigilantly diminish risk of access control "lags" and keep permissions updated to correspond with organization membership.
    • Track alterations in processes, records, and reporting requirements.
    • Embed document library links into graphical presentations on SharePoint site pages.
    • Proactively monitor, assess, and suggest recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Provide weekly or as needed reports of significant accomplishments and status reports.
  • Render Data Quality Assurance (DQA) and implement DM and RM processes as part of ongoing archival activities in response to Agency requirements.
    • Gather, store, maintain, and prepare data for spreading to internal and external customers.
    • Carry out integration and analysis of data, products, and system tools.
  • Aid programmatic reviews, technical meetings and associated briefings, and track and report on activities and products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or technical field.
  • Bachelor's degree combined with 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate is preferred
  • Experience of supporting NASA or other government organizations preferred

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role operational out of NASA HQ.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
