Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon domains.
  • 2 years of solid experience in silicon validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming with C++ and scripting in Python/Perl/Tcl.
  • Experience in complex system debug, embedded operating systems and bare metal programming.
  • Advanced knowledge in Machine Learning (ML) inference of imaging, speech, text, and other AI workloads, and AI accelerators for mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with Tensor/Neural Processing Units.
  • Understanding of operating system fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test procedures to verify functionality of new silicon.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug failures in silicon, boards, software, and manufacturing.
  • Provide ongoing updates about silicon health to platform, software and volume manufacturing teams.
  • Plan, develop, and conduct tests to validate the TPU subsystem and its integration at the system level.
  • Engage in validation of hardware accelerator engines for machine learning activities.
