Software Development Engineer (SDE) Internships
Amazon internships are full-time positions where interns typically work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week usually between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms about working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day.
Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.

Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields with an expected graduation date between Oct 2024 - Sept 2027.
- Programming experience in internship or coursework with programming language such as C++ or C and/or Python
- Candidates with strong interests and academic qualifications/research focus in two of the following - Distributed systems, Machine Learning - Experience with XLA, TVM, MLIR, LLVM, deep learning models and algorithms, Container, Operating System - Linux system programming/services
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous technical internship(s), if applicable.
- Experience in automation
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42.50/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $96.15/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
