Join our Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems (WTE) organization to be part of an outstanding team of engineers passionate about driving innovation and enriching experiences for millions of customers worldwide. The Wireless Software team is looking for an exceptional software engineer to enable/deploy ML experiences and develop sophisticated telemetry frameworks for wireless products. You'll help build ML-powered features and analytics frameworks that enable product experimentation, modem performance analysis, and anomaly identification to enhance the wireless experience of Apple products.

Job Description

As a Software Engineer in the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team, you will:

• Design and deploy ML applications for optimized wireless experiences on iOS products.
• Build scalable solutions for telemetry data mining and anomaly detection algorithms.
• Develop on-device and crowd-sourced learning frameworks to enhance Wireless product experiences.
• Deploy and maintain Machine Learning models on-device using tools like Core ML.
• Use A/B testing frameworks to validate machine learning model deployments in cellular products.
• Design and develop analytics modules on iOS that aggregate and correlate information across the cellular software stack.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in Applied Machine Learning.
• Strong object-oriented programming experience in C++, Objective C, or Swift.
• Experience prototyping and shipping customer-facing features on embedded systems.
• Experience with scalable and cross-layer system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in Applied Machine Learning.
• Strong object-oriented programming experience in C++, Objective C, or Swift.
• Experience delivering ML Powered Software Features and Applications.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this position is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
