Located strategically within the CTO's office, our elite machine learning group tackles critical priorities using cutting-edge techniques and technologies across software development, cybersecurity, and tech infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II, you will collaborate with diverse business and engineering teams to execute long-term machine learning projects critical for the growth of JPMorgan Chase. Utilizing your robust software engineering skills, you will take part in the design, development, and maintenance of AI-driven products that address the needs of our clients effectively in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to transition products from conceptualization to production.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ML models for various stages from training to deployment and evaluation.
• Develop scalable infrastructure using infrastructure as code in both private and public cloud environments.
• Create intuitive front-end interfaces utilizing contemporary web technologies.
• Enhance our CI/CD pipeline to improve deployment processes and speed, ensuring robustness and compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with formal training or certifications.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in web development frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with database systems including but not limited to Elasticsearch and DynamoDB.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or Pytorch.
• Familiarity with best practices in code development and review.
• Ability to mentor and lead within a team setting.
