As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you will have the exceptional opportunity to join our dynamic EPiX team, striving to magnify the productivity and efficiency of our engineers tenfold. This role positions you at the heart of our long-term projects involving significant generative AI development to propel JPMC businesses forward.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to transition products from conception to production.
- Design and implement custom workflows using state-of-the-art Language Models (LLMs).
- Develop and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (both private & public).
- Create intuitive frontend interfaces with modern web technologies.
- Enhance data integration using Langchain and manage data in vector database storage.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proven expertise in software engineering, backed by a formal education and at least 3 years of practical experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, and familiarity with web development frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- A strong foundation in machine learning frameworks such as Keras or PyTorch and related libraries.
- Exceptional skills in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with AWS, and expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for software design and debugging.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Experience with distributed systems and proficiency in Langchain and vector database storage is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and implementing pipelines using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Proficiency in constructing microservices utilizing gRPC and GraphQL, and familiarity with various AI prompting strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
