About the Role

Become a pivotal part of the Asset Management team at 50Hertz and drive digitalization in the energy sector. Your role as a Specialist in Data Management will be central in supporting our transformation journey, utilizing asset data to boost decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Asset Managers across different fleets to identify data-driven improvement opportunities and monitor data quality,
• Identify data quality issues and ensure the implementation of proposed solutions through crucial data governance tasks,
• Act as a liaison for Asset Managers and Product/Business Owners, responsible for developing and implementing asset data management concepts,
• Develop data roadmaps in collaboration with data owners and propose approaches for data utilization,
• Network with internal stakeholders from IT, Digital & Data, and Network Operations to ensure continuous alignment,
• Provide hands-on support as an admin user for the current digital Asset Performance Management tool,
• Collaborate with Product Owners to co-create and implement strategic digital initiatives in Asset Management,
• Design reports and presentations for workshops/meetings preparation,
• Facilitate Design Thinking and Ideation workshops.

The scope of your work will be tailored based on your experience, skills, and interests.

Your Competencies

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field with an energy focus,
• Experience in data analysis with proficiency in SQL, Python, or other analytics tools,
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience,
• A driven, naturally curious individual with a passion for data,
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities,
• Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail and capable of multitasking,
• Adaptable to changing priorities and dynamic environments,
• Fluency in English (C1 level) and proficiency in German (B2 level) required.

Advantageous but not essential:

• Familiarity with product management concepts and practices,
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
