Responsibilities:
- Responsible for individual tasks and sub-projects within the development, execution, documentation, and updating of data analytic procedures (e.g. for tax data processes)
- Assisting with existing and future tax compliance and reporting tasks like BEPS 2.0 Global Minimum Taxation, Country-by-Country Reporting, or Public Country-by-Country Reporting
- Contributes to the implementation and maintenance of efficient data extraction methods from major financial reporting applications (ERP systems, consolidation systems, SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM))
- Enhances standardization and automation in the entire data analytics process chain
- Supports the implementation of relevant IT hardware and software solutions, like SAP PaPM, at Freudenberg Group’s Corporate Tax and Customs department
- Training of tax, finance, and accounting personnel in tax data collection procedures
- Ad-hoc support to Senior Manager Global Tax Processes and Tax Analytics as well as Director Transfer Pricing and Global Tax Processes
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, IT, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
- At least three years of relevant work experience in a (tax) analyst or technology role either with a large multinational group or an established tax consultancy firm or willingness to quickly familiarize with this subject area
- Deep understanding of ERP systems, consolidation systems as well as Business Process Mapping software
- Commitment to process improvement through technology, with the ability to use own initiative and work independently
- A qualification in tax or accounting and knowledge of country/international tax regulations and IFRS accounting standards would be beneficial
- Excellent English language skills, any additional language will be a plus
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply with intercultural sensitivity to non-experts
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Responsibility and ability to work on complex projects and prioritize to ensure that deadlines are met
