We're in search of an experienced Workday and People Data Specialist to become a part of our P&C team and share your enthusiasm for all things related to people systems and reporting! This diverse and stimulating role will provide you the chance to work throughout the business and assist in the development of our HRIS system, including the gathering and analysis of workforce-specific data.
What Success Looks Like
This role demands a high level of administrative and organisational skills along with the capacity to function well in a fast-paced setting.
Provide assistance across the P&C team, with a range of responsibilities including supporting and maintaining the core HRIS including Workday, gathering and analysing workforce data to fulfil reporting requirements, and aiding the annual cycle of HR processes including performance and remuneration.
Take the lead on the collection, analysis, and presentation of workforce data to deliver regular reports to the Executive team and Board as directed by the team leader or the People and Culture Director.
Help with the submission of annual government reports (e.g. WGEA, ABS) and other large-scale reports (e.g. Workers’ Comp, Insurance).
Have a thorough understanding of the HRIS system's structure and design, and its relationship to other P&C systems.
Suggest improvements or efficiencies regarding HRIS business processes.
Assist with any audit activity (internal or external) requiring workforce data.
Act as an expert on procedures and processes across all areas of P&C to ensure uniformity.
Contribute to projects related to software upgrades, process improvement, and/or reporting. This will include ongoing projects like electronic records management.
Implement system improvements to ensure the security, confidentiality, and data integrity of all workforce-related information.
What Success Looks like…
Previous experience in a Systems and reporting role, using Workday
Experience with providing people data and reports
Experience with other HRIS and related systems is highly valued.
Prior experience in a team administration role within a fast-paced environment
Being tech-savvy and confident in handling multiple priorities at once
G-suite experience preferred but not mandatory.
Attention to detail skills and a proactive attitude
Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills
Deadline-oriented with the ability to manage your own workload
Articulate and capable of communicating well at different levels
Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
