Job Summary: Specialty Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst within our Specialty Broking division, you will play a vital role in supporting and growing our client base through innovative data application. You will collect data from various sources, ensure its accuracy, and build client deliverables to aid other Data Analysts and Brokers.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve problems and create opportunities using data.
• Generate insights and develop case studies for existing clients.
• Own data requirements in new business pitches.
• Utilize specialist tools to manipulate data into meaningful, actionable insights promptly.
• Respond to data-related queries and maintain records.
• Analyze data to identify trends.
• Set up processes and systems for efficient data work.
• Research new methods of data utilization.
• Engage with other data teams across the group, including IT Data teams.

Requirements

• Experience in Specialty Insurance, specifically the London Market or global markets.
• Attention to detail with a quick grasp of insurance financials.
• In-depth experience with MS Excel, Python, SQL, R, and Databricks.
• Proficiency in PowerBI and other visualization tools.
• An engaging, inquisitive personality focused on problem-solving.
• Excellent business acumen, arithmetic skills, and intellectual curiosity.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with good practice UX/UI.
