About the Role

As a Sr. Analytics Engineer at Sinch, you will collaborate with our analytics team and contribute to the development and management of an analytics warehouse. Your efforts will focus on delivering visionary and pragmatic solutions that enhance brand communication through mobile messaging. Utilizing cutting-edge tools such as Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Python, R, Airflow, and Tableau, you will develop testing strategies, engage in thoughtful research, and foster a culture of listening and empathy to effectively address the unique challenges faced by the brands we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new capabilities for the analytics warehouse, collaborating with stakeholders to define necessary data pipelines, models, and dashboards.
• Maintain robust partnerships with both upstream product engineering teams and client-side analytics teams, establishing effective SLAs.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines for ETL processes within Snowflake.
• Create and optimize database schemas, tables, and views in Snowflake to uphold best practices in data modeling and database management.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and other critical insights.
• Provide training and support to end users, ensuring they can effectively derive insights and make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Continuously optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines, workflows, and models to ensure scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake, AWS, and programming languages like Python and R.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools including Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage various projects simultaneously.
• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
