Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our analytics infrastructure, optimizing data sources, and driving innovation through advanced analytics.
About the Role
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will:
- Bring hands-on experience in analytics and data engineering to solve problems in fast-paced environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines from various sources, aiding in our Unified Data Warehouse (UDW).
- Possess strong business acumen, particularly in the health-tech space, and excellent collaboration skills.
- Drive self-service and data literacy for business users by creating and documenting data marts and semantic layers.
- Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics solutions.
- Optimize data processing and storage solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
- Develop automated processes for data validation, cleaning, and transformation.
- Introduce data governance to enhance operational efficiency and accountability.
- Integrate AI models into data warehousing and analytics workflows for data-driven insights and improved healthcare outcomes.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in data analytics and analytics engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and statistical programming (Python, R).
- Advanced skills in DBT (data build tool) and version control tools.
- Experience with data orchestration platforms like Airflow, Glue, and Stitch.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud data warehouses like Redshift or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in dimensional modeling and defining star/snowflake schemas.
- 1-2 years of experience identifying and operationalizing AI/ML use cases at scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to solve problems from both technical and business perspectives.
