Position Summary: Sr. BI Engineer

Location: Woonsocket, RI

As a Sr. BI Engineer, you will devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources to generate financial and market intelligence. Key duties include:

• Analyze, design, code, test, debug, and implement complex business intelligence solutions using BI tools.
• Gather requirements for developing new reports, grids, graphs, dashboards, and database objects.
• Resolve ambiguities and conflicts to ensure requirements are completed.
• Collaborate with business teams and cross-competency teams for business solution planning, development, and implementation.
• Work with business representatives, Project Management, and varied IS teams to deliver business solutions.
• Provide estimates to determine deliverable due dates, required resource effort, and report status on processes and deliverables.

Requirements

Education: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: Two (2) years in the job offered or related occupation.

Skills: The position requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

• Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles
• JIRA
• Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
• Unit and automation testing
• Analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources
• Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2
• Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases

Compensation

Pay Range: $98,717.00/year to $162,000.00/year

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
