Job Description

As a Sr Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of developing reports, statistical analyses, and data insights to drive decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Extracting, processing, and grouping various data sources from consumption layers to transform raw data into actionable information for product improvement and business strategy development.
• Ensuring analytics functionalities align with agreed standards.
• Applying best practices in development and analytics for data analysis applications.
• Utilizing data analysis techniques and quantitative methods such as statistics and econometrics to create insights from data.
• Conducting exploratory analysis to formulate new hypotheses and identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Serving as the main facilitator and provider of both quantitative and qualitative data influencing decision-making processes.
• Tracking product metrics to discover new testing, experimentation, and optimization opportunities.
• Working closely with various technical squads to ensure data quality, accurate recording, and availability.
• Defining data sets and satisfaction metrics to assess the impact of new features.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should have a degree in Economics with a statistical background, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience with programming and data analysis courses is highly valued. Key competencies include:

• Expertise in Python or R
• Proficiency in SQL database management
• Experience with reporting tools like Looker or Tableau, knowledge of distributed databases and cloud technologies is a plus
