About the Role: Senior Data Analyst
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to enhance our data visualizations and analytics capabilities for clients and Gartner associates. This role involves robust data curation, validation, enrichment processes, and automating business processes related to data movement for analysis and data exploration.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver high-quality analytics using the Microsoft Power technology stack.
- Architect Microsoft Power platform-based solutions, primarily using Power BI.
- Perform data modeling and data flow design with Power BI and related Azure tools.
- Develop advanced interactive capabilities with low-code tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Support data validation and enrichment processes and business process optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to the world’s largest IT spend database, supporting consultants, research clients, and enterprises on mission-critical priorities.
- Create custom dashboards, interactive deliverables, and innovative prototypes to boost productivity for the asset team and delivery consultants.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team of consultants to build capabilities across multiple industry and technology domains.
What You’ll Need
- Degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent field of study.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT, Business, or Consulting environment.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with Microsoft Power BI and related tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query M, and DAX.
- Proven expertise in designing user experiences for data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI.
- Professional experience with data modeling and data engineering.
- Microsoft Certifications DP-500 and PL-600 are a plus.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a penchant for sharing technical knowledge.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
