Role Overview
As a Senior Data Analyst at NWEA®, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing extensive datasets related to our educational products and assessments. This position involves hands-on statistical analysis, data management, and the mentoring of junior data analysts. You will collaborate extensively with researchers and psychometricians to enhance our assessment solutions and contribute to research reports and internal presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage statistical analyses and data management for psychometric evaluations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for data analysis and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain infrastructure to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Analyze various data formats including CSV and database tables.
- Execute advanced statistical programming and analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy of data through rigorous quality assurance processes.
- Document data collection, analysis, and quality control procedures.
- Prepare and present research findings internally.
- Guide and mentor junior data analysts and contribute to their professional development.
- Stay updated with the latest statistical techniques and industry trends through continual learning and professional development.
What You Will Need
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field in Education.
- At least 3 years of experience in educational assessment or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, and database systems like SQL, Postgres, and Amazon Redshift.

Salary and Application Details
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
