Role Summary:

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data for Social Integrations, you will take charge of new initiatives and spearhead the development of world-class platforms aimed at measuring and optimizing ad performance. You will handle industry-leading challenges such as scalability and reliability of systems managing billions of transactions daily using the latest technologies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance code for services supporting high throughput and low latency.
• Architect and create big data platforms capable of processing extensive data volumes, catering to thousands of clients, and facilitating advanced analytic processes.
• Guide junior developers by providing constructive feedback and keep up-to-date with system modifications.
• Investigate new methods for data production, processing, and analysis to enhance insight into users and product features.
• Develop, design, and test scalable data-driven products, features, and APIs.
• Enhance deliverable quality and software development life cycle processes continuously.
• Manage production environments, troubleshoot issues, evaluate impact, and devise viable solutions.
• Align technical solutions with business and product requirements through effective communication.

Who We're Looking For:

• Individuals with 3+ years of experience in programming using Python, Scala, or similar languages and a solid grasp of coding, object-oriented design, or functional programming.
• Candidates with deep knowledge in distributed system technologies and at least 2 years of experience in distributed systems like Airflow, Spark, Big Query, and Kafka Eco System.
• Professionals skilled in writing SQL queries, building low-latency high-throughput APIs, and utilizing external APIs effectively.
• Applicants with experience in DevOps tools, container technologies like Docker/ Kubernetes, and columnar data stores such as Vertica or Google BigQuery.
• Leaders passionate about mentoring and developing a diverse team of talented engineers.
• Excellent communicators with a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related fields who thrive in collaborative team environments.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting salary for this role ranges from $99,000 to $197,000, based on qualifications, expertise, and experience. Benefits include bonus/commission possibilities, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
