Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Senior Data Engineer to enhance the reliability and efficiency of construction data management at our Ankeny, IA, location. This role involves sophisticated data pipeline integration and management, automating workflows, and leading project execution strategies. The position requires up to 10% travel and includes flexible working hours catered to project demands.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to improve HQC construction data accuracy and accessibility.
• Create advanced queries for Power BI, optimizing data processes and backend automation.
• Enhance project management software integrations and streamline data acquisition and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt data systems to changing technologies and business requirements.
• Champion guidelines for effective data management and user training within the organization.
• Lead a team focused on data integration and analytics, supporting strategic data technology deployments.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IS/IT is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in data management within business operations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX, Power BI, and Java.
• An in-depth understanding of P6, HCSS, and Procore construction management software. < Sierra Leone sierra leonian
