Join Our Team as a Senior Data Engineer

CyberCube is on the hunt for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to enhance our data operations. This essential role involves expanding and optimizing our data architecture, improving data flow and pipeline for cross-functional teams, and playing a pivotal role in our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain large, complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.

  • Drive process improvement by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for increased scalability.

  • Construct infrastructure for effective data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources utilizing SQL and AWS big data technologies.

  • Implement systems to monitor data quality, ensuring data is always accurate and available for critical business processes and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Executives, Product, Data, and Platform teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.

  • Proficiency with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and ElasticSearch.

  • Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Luigi, Airflow, etc.

  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Athena.

  • Knowledgeable in using data visualization tools such as Grafana, QuickSight.

  • Skilled in object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting.

  • Experience in developing data-driven applications and building platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
