CyberCube is on the hunt for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to enhance our data operations. This essential role involves expanding and optimizing our data architecture, improving data flow and pipeline for cross-functional teams, and playing a pivotal role in our data-driven initiatives.
Develop and maintain large, complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
Drive process improvement by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for increased scalability.
Construct infrastructure for effective data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources utilizing SQL and AWS big data technologies.
Implement systems to monitor data quality, ensuring data is always accurate and available for critical business processes and stakeholders.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Executives, Product, Data, and Platform teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
Proficiency with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and ElasticSearch.
Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Luigi, Airflow, etc.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Athena.
Knowledgeable in using data visualization tools such as Grafana, QuickSight.
Skilled in object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
Experience supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting.
Experience in developing data-driven applications and building platforms.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
