The Opportunity: Sr. Engineering Manager, Machine Learning

As the Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager based in our DT Warsaw Technology HUB, you will play a pivotal role in steering our data science, machine learning, and engineering initiatives. Cooperating closely with global teams, your expertise will foster innovative applications of emerging technologies, enhancing our business processes and decision-making capabilities, thereby amplifying customer value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a stellar team of data scientists and engineers to develop a robust AI and ML engineering platform enabling scalable model deployment.
• Enhance tools for effective model management and performance monitoring.
• Architect solutions for operating high-availability services at internet scale.
• Drive best practices in engineering and research to accelerate the deployment and experimentation of ML-driven features.
• Shape the ML infrastructure strategy by integrating feedback from various stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years in machine learning coupled with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Comprehensive understanding of machine learning pipelines from data ingestion to production deployment.
• Proficiency in scientific computing languages like Python, and tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience in designing and maintaining large-scale systems, including experience with parallel computing.
• Strong ability to transition complex research ideas from prototype to production.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of driving cross-functional collaborations.
