Opportunity for Senior Machine Learning and Generative AI Engineers

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Machine Learning and Generative AI engineer proficient in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to develop cutting-edge technologies for future Apple products. This role offers the chance to work alongside a team of specialized machine learning engineers, tackling unsolved challenges and advancing the state of the art for a global audience.

You will engage deeply with cross-functional teams, including business experts, engineers, data scientists, designers, and researchers. This role demands technical skill across all project phases, from conceptualization and design to coding and implementation.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in building NLP/AI software professionally.
• Experience with state-of-the-art NLP algorithms, AI models like Multi-modal LLMs, and experience in deploying large-scale models.
• Proficiency in software tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong track record of innovative solutions in past roles.

Role Focus

• Prototype and implement world-class algorithms alongside a team of experts.
• Lead initiatives on Large Language Models and Generative AI, exploring new functionalities within these domains.
• Automate and optimize ML pipelines for efficiency and scalability.
• Analyze data to improve or devise new models for enhanced performance.
• Partner with software engineers to integrate models into robust systems for an exceptional user experience globally.
• Stay updated with AI advancements and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Address potential biases in model predictions to enhance fairness and inclusivity.

Education & Experience:

A Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field is preferred, or an M.S. with significant professional machine learning application experience.

Pay & Benefits:

Salary range is $199,800.00 to $300,200.00, reflecting the varied skill sets and experiences candidates may bring. Apple's total compensation package includes opportunities for stock purchase, comprehensive healthcare, and educational support, among other benefits.
