Position Overview: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work on diverse customer interaction data and analytics. This role involves the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of large-scale deep learning models, supported by data engineering and DevOps teams. You'll establish best practices in software and ML development, mentor junior team members, and serve as the MLOPS expert, ensuring workflow efficiency and robust model training using distributed computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate deep learning models across large-scale systems, ensuring continuous deployment, retraining, and updates in partnership with data engineering.
• Present technical design and product strategy insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Exchange complex information with peers and managers in areas of specialization.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressively complex related experience
• 3+ years of experience developing and productionizing reinforcement learning models at scale
• 3+ years of CI/CD, integration testing, test-driven development, and code versioning (Git)
• 3+ years of software development with Python and MLOPS best practices
• Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience productionizing transformers and large language models
• Background in AI/ML/Reinforcement learning research
• Proficiency in designing and developing distributed, data-intensive products
• Participation in code reviews is a plus
• Strong background in mathematical analysis, machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
• Experience in Causal Inference is advantageous

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $97,335.00 - $206,000.00. This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on various factors, including experience, education, geography, and more. Additionally, this position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
