Position Summary

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Wellesley, MA: Sr. Machine Learning Engineer. You will build, develop, and maintain cloud-native software web applications and systems that support CVS's business needs and end customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cloud-native application development, web development, API integration, and scaling them in real-time.
• Participate in the entire software lifecycle development, including testing, CI/CD, and production operations.
• Develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, standardize data, generate insights, and address reporting needs.
• Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
• Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
• Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and design and optimize queries to build data pipelines.
• Utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to create robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
• Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers.
• Integrate data from various sources while ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards.
• Analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions.
• Experiment with and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions that meet model/use case requirements.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in each of the following:

• CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, and DevOps
• Java and Python
• Agile methodologies and SAFe Software Development Principles
• Cloud technologies: GCP or AWS
• MySQL, Hive, or R
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performing, scalable code
• Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
• Software development lifecycle
• Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $112,986.00/year to $200,000.00/year. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, and geography.
