Senior Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer

Join the Peloton team as a Senior Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer and play a pivotal role in the AI/ML organization that innovates with ML-powered consumer products in the fitness domain. We are searching for an expert in ML infrastructure to collaborate closely with ML Engineers, data engineers, software engineers, and data analysts, advancing machine learning development in connected fitness. This unique opportunity lets you work on essential tools and infrastructure supporting both computer vision and recommender systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, evolve, and scale state-of-the-art machine learning system infrastructure powering Peloton’s connected fitness data.
• Implement scalable infrastructure solutions in collaboration with machine learning engineers, researchers, and backend engineers for ML model development, lifecycle management, monitoring, and offline experimentation.
• Create an internal training platform to expedite the velocity of offline experimentation for ML engineers.
• Develop and deploy data stores supporting batch pipelines and real-time recommendations working alongside ML and data engineers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in developing infrastructure and platforms for Machine Learning at scale.
• Strong programming background with extensive experience in Python. Knowledge of additional languages such as C, C++, Java, or Swift is advantageous.
• Proficiency in multiple technologies including AWS, MLFlow, Airflow, PyTorch, Jupyter, Kubernetes, MySQL, and NoSQL databases, Kubeflow.
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and driven to innovate in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to take complete ownership of features or projects.
• Bonus points for experience setting up ML CI/CD pipelines, working with large datasets using frameworks like Spark, and building an internal training platform.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $199,200—$239,040 USD. The actual base salary will depend on various factors such as individual performance, business objectives, and location of the job.
