Role Overview:

As a Sr. Procurement and Materials Mgmt. Data Analyst and Systems Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Cognos, and SQL.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather and decipher analytics requirements.
  • Design sophisticated data models and create interactive dashboards to effectively communicate insights.
  • Architect SSAS multidimensional and tabular models tailored to business needs.
  • Enhance query performance and streamline data retrieval processes.
  • Address data-related issues ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Keep abreast of latest trends in reporting and data visualization technologies.
  • Empower end-users through tailored training, enhancing their ability to utilize reporting tools.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to bolster data analytics capabilities and foster data-driven decision making.
  • Implement varied statistical and mathematical models to manage and analyze large data sets.
  • Validate and document efficient workflows and reporting processes in Costpoint Purchasing and Materials.

Required Qualifications:

  • US citizenship required.
  • Comprehensive expertise in Power BI, Cognos, SQL, SSAS models, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Profound understanding of Oracle Database and data mining techniques.
  • Excellence in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Adept in business analysis and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex data in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment and possess a Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Education and Experience:

Prospective candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, IT, or related fields, along with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Strong command over data visualization tools, data modeling, SSAS, ETL processes, and SQL/database management is crucial.
