What You Will Do

In your role as a Sr Snowflake Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures in Snowflake.
• Enhance data flow and optimize SQL queries and scripts for cross-functional teams.
• Drive process enhancements, develop new tools, and collaborate with Analytics teams to support ServiceNow's growth.
• Adopt and adhere to documented architecture and deployment standards to ensure compliance.
• Provide expertise in enterprise business processes and troubleshoot data issues.
• Provide insights through data analysis to aid decision-making and strategy.
• Stay ahead with emerging technologies and implement improvements on data systems.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in database architecture, data warehousing or analytics in a similar role.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Snowflake including reporting and SQL queries.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and familiarity with data libraries such as Pandas, numpy, Sklearn.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
• Desirable: data science experience, Snowflake core advance certification, and knowledge in developing dashboards in Tableau/Power BI. Experience with GenAI is a significant advantage.
