Overview

If you have 8+ years of industry experience in Natural Language and text-based Machine Learning technologies such as Semantic Search, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Vector Databases, and Large Language Models, we want to hear from you! The Priceless Platform, Mastercard’s premier AWS-hosted global platform, is growing, and we are looking for your expertise in enhancing our platform with cutting-edge NLP powered capabilities.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Apply Semantic Search techniques to improve and scale search functionality using technologies like Elastic.
• Design and implement scalable text processing workflows utilizing advanced NLP models, such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, and BERT.
• Develop high-quality training data or apply retrieval augmentation models to enhance system performance and accuracy.
• Fine-tune and customize LLM models to meet the specific needs of our recommendation system.
• Integrate evaluation metrics to continuously monitor and improve recommendation engine performance.
• Optimize the recommendation system for low latency, high throughput, and resource efficiency.
• Stay current with ML, NLP, and LLM research to integrate relevant advancements into our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate the recommendation engine into our website and applications.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of industry experience with Semantic Search (Elastic), large language models, transformer architectures, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of NLP techniques, including text preprocessing, embeddings, and language models.
• Experience with retrieval augmentation models in recommendation systems.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and familiar with libraries like Hugging Face, NLTK, and scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP) with experience in deploying and scaling AI/LLM models.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
