Position Overview: Staff Analytics Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient data models and visualizations accessible by both Checkr internal teams and external clients.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to derive insights from data dashboards influencing product development.
- Publish and optimize trusted data models to foster a self-service environment for data queries within the organization.
- Define and standardize data schemas to guide analysts across Checkr in their data interactions.
- Lead high-impact projects enhancing data quality and accessibility.
- Prototype data solutions rapidly for iterative feedback and continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members on best practices in data modeling and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.

What You Bring to the Role:
- Over 7 years of experience in data engineering, BI analysis, or analytics engineering with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and relational database management.
- Skilled at SQL, data modeling, and query optimization for enhanced performance.
- Experience with technologies like DBT, Snowflake, Looker, and Airflow is a bonus.
