With a foundation in composable AI capabilities and privacy-enhancing computation, AIaS is at the forefront, powering the industrialization of data, models, and applications. We are seeking a Staff Engineer in AIML with a robust background in both development and production of AI and ML systems. This role involves crafting and maintaining new capabilities for AI as a Service, improving our platforms, and optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability of AI models and services.

You will be a vital member of the AIaS engineering team, engaging in new requirements analysis, system design, development, and continuous improvement, ensuring superior solutions for our customers. This role requires a dynamic, problem-solving individual with excellent coding, testing, and troubleshooting skills who is willing to address a broad spectrum of tasks throughout the platform development lifecycle.

Role Flexibility

This is a hybrid position allowing you to split your time between remote work and our office, based on a preset schedule determined by leadership. This arrangement aims to balance flexibility with collaboration and is designed to meet evolving business needs.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or a minimum of two years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or are PhD holders with ready-to-apply knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong development skills in languages such as Golang, Java, Python, Rust, and C/C++.
• Experience with big data and real-time technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining data and model engineering pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed frameworks like Ray, Spark.
• Familiarity with model training/serving engines like TensorFlow, Triton, and Pytorch.
• Knowledge in DR/HA topologies and DevOps tools implementation is a plus.
• Exposure to public cloud services and environments is advantageous.
