About the Role

We are seeking a talented Staff Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to unlock valuable insights from sales calls. You will develop machine learning models and data engineering solutions to enhance forecasting capabilities for key revenue metrics. Your work will span the entire process from ideation and experimentation to productization, allowing you to witness the impact of your models in real-world production across hundreds of customers. The innovative products you create will be utilized by some of the most renowned companies globally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the product team to understand critical enterprise sales productivity challenges and advise on feasible approaches.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor to management on machine learning and statistical methods.
  • Lead the evaluation and qualification of various machine learning models for specific analytics problems.
  • Develop ML algorithm-based product features, considering deployment, scalability, observability, and rollout.
  • Maintain post-production ownership of ML modules within the product.
  • Provide feedback on best practices and recommend necessary investments to enhance the Data Science team's efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in ML/data science, with a proven track record in solving complex analytical problems within the NLP domain.
  • 6+ years of experience delivering ML-based products and managing them in a production environment.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning (e.g., NLP, deep learning, ensemble methods, regression methods, time series analysis, LLMs, transfer learning) and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical findings clearly and precisely.
  • Expert knowledge of Python and standard ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools and packages like NumPy and SciPy.
  • Experience in end-to-end ownership of ML features, including productization, continuous performance monitoring, and ongoing improvements.
  • Understanding of architectural considerations, performance, parallelization, robustness, cost, and fault mitigation.
  • Knowledge of SQL (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Experience managing the model lifecycle with tools like SageMaker or MLflow is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8S) is a plus.
