About The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Data Scientist to lead our Data Science initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams, driving the transformation of prototypes into impactful solutions. You will spearhead our audience-focused Data Science team and work closely with Machine Learning Engineers.

What You Will Do
- Lead the cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis of complex datasets to derive actionable insights
- Develop and deploy advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models
- Oversee the evaluation of model performance, driving iterative improvements in accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively through compelling visualizations and presentations
- Uphold coding standards to produce high-quality, maintainable code
- Collaborate with platform/runtime data teams to ensure the delivery of top-tier solutions
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and project managers
- Architect robust ML systems and frameworks
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation
- Lead a distributed team of Data Scientists
Requirements
What You Will Bring
- 7+ years of experience delivering impactful data science solutions in production, covering design and implementation across backend, data, and ML domains
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field (e.g., applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science)
- Expertise in developing and supporting high-performance distributed systems
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
- Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., BigQuery, PostgreSQL, ScyllaDB, Redis)
- Proven track record in cloud computing platforms such as GCP and AWS (including Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with ML Ops tools, common data science libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., GitHub)
- Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Scikit-learn, plus desirable experience in Airflow/Spark, Jupyter, and deep learning frameworks
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and drive results independently
