The Opportunity:

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be pivotal in building ML products that not only transform data into meaningful insights but also directly empower our customers to build and manage their wealth. This role within our Technology/Data organization offers the chance to make significant contributions by leading ML initiatives from conception to execution.

Your Role Will Involve:

• Proactively identifying and designing ML solutions to enhance our business strategies.
• Collaborating with architects and data engineers to refine our ML infrastructure and streamline the deployment cycle.
• Using data-driven methodologies to improve customer interactions and promoting the Stash mission through advanced ML techniques.
• Empowering cross-functional teams by facilitating ML-informed decision-making processes.
• Guiding product, business, and engineering stakeholders by translating complex data into actionable strategies.
• Mentoring junior team members and enhancing team best practices.

What We Look For:

An ideal candidate will have an MS or Ph.D. in STEM and at least 8 years of experience in ML or data engineering roles, with a proven track record of deploying production models. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with AWS tools are essential. Experience in the fintech industry and a deep understanding of the investment or credit sectors are advantageous.
