The Role:

You will lead the dynamic initiatives of the Simulation Smart Agents, focusing on optimizing robotics components in the software. Your expertise will help develop ML models and simulation systems to emulate realistic road scenarios, critical for training and testing autonomous vehicle (AV) navigation strategies. Engage deeply in:

  • Optimizing algorithm integration and streamlining machine learning model deployments within the simulation infrastructure.
  • Developing high-performance machine learning and system architectures.
  • Enhancing data pipelines from real observations to valuable training simulations.
  • Designing evaluation metrics for simulation realism and performance.

Requirements:

Strong candidates will demonstrate:

  • Over 8 years of experience in robotics or latency-sensitive backend services.
  • Depth in machine learning, proficient with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Expertise in building scalable, efficient system architectures.
  • Advanced skills in modern programming languages like C++ or Python.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with robotic software (ROS, Gazebo), sensor technologies, and parallel training methodologies.
