Groove, a Clari company, aims to serve historically underserved users who have dealt with inefficient software for too long. Groove elevates user experience, ensuring users perform optimally during their daily 4-6 hour interactions with our platform.

About the Role

We seek well-rounded engineers to undertake significant projects, collaborate closely with peers, and help shape the future of our company. Your influence on product and technology solutions will be substantial, helping define our company culture as we revolutionize sales processes.

Our engineering teams are divided into product-based squads. You’ll join one of these squads, collaborating closely with fellow engineers and product managers.

This is a fully remote opportunity, available to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and robust systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and design
  • Drive technical strategy, setting standards and practices
  • Mentor both senior and junior engineers for continuous learning and improvement
  • Review code to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
  • Represent the engineering team in broader company discussions, contributing to product and business strategy
  • Research and introduce advanced technologies and tools as needed
  • Identify and resolve challenges in current architecture and solutions
  • Advocate for continuous improvement in product and development processes
  • Contribute to and lead architectural discussions and initiatives

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
  • 5+ years of software development experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Python, or Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Proficient in building and scaling distributed systems
  • Understanding of advanced programming and design patterns beyond MVC
  • Experience optimizing large-scale applications and managing extensive databases
  • Professional experience in web application development with commercial or open-source frameworks
  • Fluent in REST and GraphQL web services/API standards
  • Experience in RDBMS development, including complex SQL, DML, and DDL
  • PostgreSQL experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with NoSQL technologies (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
