Role: Staff/Senior Data Engineer - Afternoon Shift

10Pearls is on the lookout for a highly skilled and seasoned Data Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of professional experience, particularly in Informatica Power Center, SSIS, SQL Server, and Snowflake. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions to support our organizational data requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Identify and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
• Automate repetitive tasks using data-driven insights.
• Build infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse data sources utilizing SQL and AWS 'big data' technologies.
• Identify, design, and execute internal process improvements: automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and re-design infrastructure for scalability.
• Monitor process performance and recommend necessary changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for analytics to foster product innovation and leadership.
• Work alongside data and analytics experts to enhance data system functionality.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data management and automation within Spark, Hadoop, and HDFS environments.
• Show thorough understanding of database management, with advanced knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Mongo, Cassandra, or Bigtable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Informatica Power Center.
• Strong experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
