Internship Details

Education: Engineering or scientific degree (Bachelor's/Master's) from a European institution. The internship content will be tailored to your education and data analysis knowledge. No deep biology knowledge required if you're an engineering student, and vice versa.

Language: Proficiency in French and English.

Duration: Minimum 6 months.

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Requirements: The internship must be a mandatory part of your student curriculum, with an internship agreement signed by GSK, the student, and the university.

Compensation: The internship is unpaid in accordance with Belgian legal guidelines, but some costs will be reimbursed.

Your Mission as a Data Analyst Intern

The Local Manufacturing Science and Technologies (LMSAT) department at GSK Belgium supports vaccine production. As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Support production units in improvement and optimization projects (e.g., process development, cost, quality, EHS) using data analytics.
  • Join a Data Analytics team to enhance knowledge and practices within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize productivity through big data analysis.
  • Identify root causes of production issues using data.
  • Collaborate with other young scientists to improve the department's Data Analytics skills.
  • Coordinate project initiation, execution, and closure with stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze needs and constraints from field actors to solve production problems.
  • Create business cases to select the best solutions.
  • Explore existing technologies and identify those that could be implemented at GSK Vaccines.
  • Contribute to the medium-to-long-term technological roadmap of a production unit.
