Intern in Data Science

Data is the driving force of Kadaster. To support the organization with data science queries and ideas, we established the Data Science Team. We collaborate not only within our organization but also with external entities such as ministries.

Your Internship

The Data Science Team is eager to embrace innovative ideas from enthusiastic students. Therefore, we are open to having you join our team or conduct independent research during your thesis internship. Your internship will be custom-tailored: we'll work together to craft a fantastic internship or thesis project aligned with your studies, skills, and interests.

Here are some examples of current or past student projects:

• Development of the chatbot Loki and AI Large Language Models: the Q&A system behind chatbot Loki (from language to queries);
• AI prediction models on topics like floor heights, excavation damages, construction years, etc.;
• Linked Data & Knowledge Graphs (handling authorizations);
• Data analytics and dashboard creation (like the housing market dashboard);
• Innovative AR/VR and gaming applications (such as the HoloLens application and chatbot front-end).

Your internship could extend any of these projects. Consider enhancing the chatbot Loki or perhaps developing prediction models for house sales, exploring technical or digital transformations, or other engaging front-end development challenges. The possibilities are vast!

The Team

The Data Science Team consists of 15 diverse and young members including data scientists, students, smart starters, and trainees, all in a highly educational environment. We value accessibility, innovation, and collaboration. We explore leading-edge technologies in data science and collaborative opportunities, both internally and beyond Kadaster.

Who Are You?

You are a driven HBO or WO student seeking an internship aligned with your studies in ICT, software engineering, data science, computer science, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, or similar fields. You are proactive, inquisitive, and innovative, with a strong passion for technological advancements.
