Compensation:

Starting at $12.00/hour, with a $1.00 increase for each returning year, contingent on experience and education.

Job Overview:

As a Data Quality Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CISHOT Program and Data teams by ensuring the precision and compliance of campus data with state and local standards. You will utilize Excel to monitor and track specific data points, which vary monthly. Your findings will be reported to both the Campus Program Director and the Grants & Management Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review data entered into the CIS database to identify and correct errors.
  • Complete and maintain data monitoring spreadsheets for assigned campuses to ensure accuracy according to state and local regulations.
  • Submit data monitoring spreadsheets to the Campus Program Director and the Grants & Management Director.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with CIS staff.
  • Stay informed about CIS policies and procedures.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

General Office Duties:

  • Offer general office assistance and support.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and visitors, answering inquiries, and providing information.
  • Maintain and organize files and reports, ensuring confidentiality of information.
  • Assist with various projects, activities, and tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to University policies and maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements:

  • Enrollment at Baylor University and must be federal work-study eligible.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse job situations.
  • Ability to transport oneself to and from the work site.
  • Completion and clearance of a Criminal Background Check.
