About the Role

The Sustainability Data Manager will be instrumental in managing, analyzing, and communicating sustainability-related data to foster continuous enhancement of our sustainability performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role ensures the precise and timely reporting of sustainability metrics, supporting the organization in achieving its ambitious sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an agile sustainability data management system focusing on non-financial, safety, and environmental data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators for our "Life+Nature" initiatives.
• Streamline and document data collection processes, manage the data contributor community, and oversee tools for optimal data governance.
• Analyze and interpret diverse data sets to provide clear insights into trends and improvement opportunities.
• Produce various reports and dashboards, including EHS monthly reports, quarterly carbon reduction trajectories, and annual sustainability reports.
• Support the preparation of annual sustainability reports and other external communications, aligned with relevant standards and frameworks.
• Maintain expertise in sustainability standards and best practices to continually refine our reporting processes.
• Ensure seamless integration of relevant data into company-wide systems and support teams in using sustainability data management tools.

Functional Competencies

Technical Competencies

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Qlik Sense, or Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards like GRI, SASB, and Ecovadis.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.

Experience: At least 5 years in sustainability data management, focusing on non-financial, safety, and environmental reporting.
