About the Role: Team Lead Data Engineering and Analytics

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to significantly enhance the capabilities of our Analytics Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for converting complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across Commercial, Marketing, and Operations segments at Adyen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of talented analytics engineers and data analysts, fostering an environment of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to craft and execute a strategic vision for data analytics, defining goals and translating them into actionable roadmaps.
• Design and optimize data models, pipelines, and analytics processes to meet business needs and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract insights from vast datasets, influencing product and operational strategies.
• Ensure the highest standards of data governance, quality, and security are maintained, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Professionals with at least 5 years of leadership experience in an analytics engineering environment within a high-growth, complex organization.
• Expertise in data engineering, proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and familiar with distributed computing systems like Spark and Hadoop.
• Strong project management capabilities and excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Individuals who are innately innovative, enjoy solving complex problems, and are committed to driving impact through data.
