Key Responsibilities

• Independently build and demonstrate rapid generative AI solutions with short notice.
• Serve as the lead data strategist/scientist/engineer to identify and integrate new datasets into product capabilities and collaborate with the engineering team for data product development using Azure Cognitive Services, especially Azure OpenAI.
• Develop AI and ML models for generative AI applications, including ChatGPT.
• Transform natural language data into actionable features using NLP, NLG, and LLM techniques for classification algorithms.
• Utilize various generative AI tools and products, primarily Azure OpenAI, to rapidly build and deploy multiple PoCs and MVPs.
• Identify valuable data sources and automate the data collection process.
• Preprocess structured and unstructured datasets.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
• Build predictive models and implement machine learning algorithms.
• Combine models for ensemble modeling.
• Present data insights using advanced visualization techniques.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in building language models, machine learning, and AI models using industry tools, products, and Azure Cognitive Services.
• Experience in Flask, Django, or Fast API development with at least 2-3 projects delivered as a developer.
• Strong knowledge of core Python, including iterators, generators, OOP concepts, Python Shell (REPL), ORM, data structures, and exception handling.
• Understanding of contemporary Python libraries for language model orchestration, such as LangChain, Llamaindex, and Autogen.
• Expertise in either Azure or AWS for building and deploying AI applications using cloud services.
• Hands-on experience in data collection, mining, preprocessing, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in large language models (LLMs/LSTMs/BERT) for complex reasoning in few- and zero-shot settings, including generating intermediate chain-of-thought (CoT) reasoning steps.
• Experience in building, customizing, and fine-tuning AI models, including LLMs, via OpenAI Studio and Azure OpenAI Cognitive Services for rapid PoCs.
• Programming skills in statistical languages such as R and Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, and Pig. Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is a plus.
• Deep understanding and application of machine learning algorithms.
• Strong background in data science and data engineering, with proficiency in both open-source and cloud-distributed machine learning and AI tools, particularly Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning.
• Comprehensive understanding of Azure cloud technology, including Vision, Speech, Language, Decision, Search, and Azure OpenAI services and their implementation.
• Expertise in Python or scripting languages and deep experience in building and fine-tuning large language models such as GPT-4, GPT-3.5, DALL-E, Whisper, Embeddings, Moderation, and Codex.
• Proficiency in various AI model tasks, including completions, embeddings, edits, transcriptions, translations, fine-tuning, and moderation, especially with OpenAI models.
• Hands-on training and fine-tuning with Azure OpenAI distributed models such as DaVinci, Curie, Babbage, and ADA.
